Really freaking out!

I have never been away from either of my kids more than 24 hours. I leave tomorrow after school for a two day conference and I won't see them again until Saturday afternoon! DH is awesome so they will be fine but I am having panic attacks thinking about how much I will miss them. The conference is at tan tar a which is right by an awesome outlet mall. Mil, cousin in law and aunt in law are all coming too! Excited for this conference and the shopping but I'm going to miss my DH and girls very bad!

Re: Really freaking out!

  • Have fun. It sounds like your girls are going to be in good hands with your h. Are you able.to skype with them while you are gone? That might help.

  • OH NO, of course she will get a stomach bug right when you're supposed to leave!

I have two, three and four day conferences all the time and it really sucks. I think you'll actually really enjoy yourself. I usually find that I'm staying so busy while I'm away I don't have time to be sad. The reunions are THE BEST and you'll be so thankful to be back with them.

On another note, I've been to several conferences at TanTarA and it's really nice and cozy. It cracks me up because the design of the building is so... confusing! I think I finally have it figured out! The main building is sort of built into a hill, so the front desk is actually on the 4th or 5th level, something like that. Parking and most of the rooms are on the lower levels and the conference area and little shops are on the 7th and 8th levels. There's long, winding hallways, and good luck finding the restaurants! Ha! You'll have fun!! :) I hope your sweet girl feels better soon!

  • Dh's uncle has a place at the lake so mil came with me and we are staing there. We come to the lake frequently and I'm excited I get some Xmas shopping done. Even more excited to be this conference there are so many go seminars!

  • Btw my phone has a huge crack in it and my letters don't type as well. Which is why there is the horrible typing above
