Rude Comments

Hello Everyone

A lot of us here are either trying to conceive, have conceived or are dealing with a loss of a baby and really don't need the criticism or rude comments when we ask questions. We understand that taking a test or visiting the doctor is most likely the best bet, but then that means there would be no reason to post here right?

We are all here seeking answers in some way and while this may be a public forum, the rudeness is really unnecessary ladies. Please be kind to one another and help in sharing your experiences.

Aaaaaaand she had to close with baby dust. Take that crap back to baby center where you belong. That is nothing but offensive in this neck of the woods.

I think that there are ways to say, "no baby dust" without being rude... I just learnt that through this message.

I don't think she was intentionally saying anything hurtful. A simple, "Hey, sorry, we don't use that term here for so-and-so reasons, please refrain or try this idea next time" might help ease the fight or flight response...

Support is what these boards are for, no? Or are we really a bunch of women who need to have a bitch session on an internet forum where its safe to be a keyboard warrior??

I really wasn't trying to be rude or snarky or bitchy to anyone..... I was simply pointing out that it's rude to comment with rude comments to someone you don't know and to someone who is actually looking for help/support/guidance/advice from a forum that specifies that this is what the forum is for.

To anyone offended by baby dust which actually is another way of saying "good luck or best wishes" to you - my intentions weren't to offend you. I wish everyone well here and hope that you will do the same.

@kch917 Yeah I can see that you figured being like them is better and unfortunately I am not a follower like you to women who think that being mean and criticizing people because they have questions about TTC or who want to share their TWW symptoms is cute.

So - You can continue to be just like them, leave or come back later..... Either way..... You and them are NMFFB in my life.

When you can't tell the difference between a mod and a random.... then there's where the problem kinda starts.

Here's a helpful hint for you... the mods have the word "mod" after their names.

Can someone explain the baby dust thing to me? 

I remember hearing my grandmother tell people "i'll sprinkle some baby dust for you!!" when someone was trying to get pregnant...like it was a "good luck"

From what I've gathered in these posts, it is definitely not what I thought it was growing up
