Have anyone else's dogs become super protective since you got pregnant? The cable guy came and this is the first time someone has been here when my husband hasn't been home and they went nuts. I locked them up and they are going super crazy and my little dog tried to bit him before I could get them put away!

My IF blog
It was SO a typical the 1st time it happened I didn't even know what to do, luckily he's a 10 pound pomeranian so I just picked him up and removed him from the immediate area.
Pre-pregnancy if I was home waiting for a service person my dog was extremely friendly to everyone.
They are both constantly underfoot.
Both pregnancies my dogs have become very clingy, I cant even go anywhere in the house with out them following me around. Now with my two year old son, one of our dogs has become VERY protective. When my son was an infant we pulled up to bank with the dogs in the back, the bank teller ran out to give me something in the car and the window was down. She stuck her hand in to touch my son without addressing my dogs in the back first and one of my dogs bit her. I felt horrible and apologized like crazy but the lady said it was her fault for reaching into the car directly for the baby. I'm definitely more cautious now when new people come around and will make them meet the dogs outside first so it wont cause any problems.
