NPR: Wedding Ring cleaning

1. How often do you take yours to get cleaned/rhodium dipped?

2. Does your jeweler charge you?

 

1. I used to take mine about once a season but moved (2 years ago) and haven't found a new jeweler yet.

2. I never had to pay for some reason but there was a sign saying they'd charge $15.

I get it cleaned about every 6 weeks, only been dipped once. ?No charge

1) at least every 6 months...I like to go more often, but I don't get to a mall much anymore with both kids.

2) I have never had a place in the mall charge me yet!

I used to clean it when I had an event to go to. Haven't done it in forever  and never had it dipped.

Oh and they charged me $10 for cleaning

I have never been charged, but I usually clean it at home.  I haven't done that in forever though.

I've never had mine cleaned at a jeweler.  I just clean it at home.

I used to work at a jewlery store (free cleaning with jewlery cleaner but they charged for steam cleaning) and people used to bring in some nasty dirty jewelery.
