Mickey Mouse

For anyone who has a child that loves Mickey Mouse clubhouse today is his Birthday and it is on all day.
This is nice bc I am babysitting and it is freezing outside!

Re: Mickey Mouse

  • Thanks! Emmalyn will be so excited. She could seriously watch it all day. She will ask to watch it multiple times a day and if I say no she asks for it in a different way. For instance she will ask to watch hot dog...I say no so she asks to watch oh toodles...I say no so she asks to watch Minnie Mouse and so on! I think this calls for birthday cake too.

  • Thanks for the heads up. My kids LOVE Mickey & Minnie. I let them watch an episode this morning since it's freezing outside and we're going to be stuck inside today.

They have Minnie & Mickey beanie babies that they carry around the house everywhere. They both try to sing and do the hot dog dance. DD is obsessed! I much prefer this over the previous Elmo obsession. :)

  • I turn it on for DD sometimes when I'm feeding DS. She watches it for about 2 minutes and that's about the length of her attention span. I keep hearing about these kids who actually like and ask to watch TV.... not that I'd let her watch TV all day, but it would be nice if she watched it sometimes!

  • Mickey Mouse fan here too!  I saw it was going to be on so I DVR'd it because I was getting sick of the same old episodes.
  • So cute. MJ loves it. She asks for Minnie all day. She grabs the remote and jumps in the couch. We have to hide the remote again. Lol.

  • Well...my DD has pretty much loved TV since I started letting her watch it around 11 months.  My newborn son cranks his head around so he can watch when she is, even when I face him away.  I guess turning it on is a good distraction when I need it, and possibly she knows more than if she was just inside with her toys all day, but that's where the good ends.  We really have to go out or all she says is "mote mote mote."  She would watch all her waking hours, and it's too tempting to let her.
