fuzzibunz not getting clean

hi. I have recently stopped CD with fuzzibunz AIO; I have gotten an ammonia smell that I can't seem to get out.

my wash cycle is usually cold rinse then a full cycle with hot water (and I have tried many different detergents) and then hang to dry in the sun.

I am a FTM trying this and none of my family or friends CD.

ideas/any help so I can go back? baby #2 is on the way.

I didn't think you were being rude at all, but I it isn't good form to talk bad about another board.  People cross boards all the time.

I know there is a lot of conflicting info out there, it can be confusing.  First off, steer clear of all free and clear detergents and dish detergents.  Secondly, always do an additional rinse after your detergent cycle.  Did you use tide powder or liquid?

Here's my suggestion -- run a few hot water cycles with no detergent.  Check for bubbles.  If there are bubbles, keep doing these rinses till there are no bubbles.  Then try a new wash routine:
Rinse and spin no detergent.
Normal wash, hot water, powder tide to 1 line.
Rinse and spin no detergent.

Let us know how that goes.

We aren't trying to be rude, this has actually been an issue in the past with some wash problems.  And if it were the case, it would be a quick fix.

I have used multiple amounts (because I have been told different things by different people) I have used tide; all free and clear; allens; and I think 2 others (one bejng another free and clear) but don't remember the names (sorry) also have tried dawn; I have a top loader washer (water quality no idea sorry) can find out when hubby gets home & I was not doing extra rinses after the wash.

sorry if anyone thought i was being rude I didn't think you were (sorry if my response made it seem that way) not my intention

although I have been warned that people on the specialty groups can be rough; but I haven't seen it on THIS board yet (name board however they are cruel)

Everything TJ said, plus when you have a moment, go to the website of your local water authority and see what their annual report says as far as hardness. You are looking for gpg or ppm of Ca/Mg.
