Paranoid poof. The gist of it- my parents make me crazy. My step dad had a medical emergency in a foreign country and all went to shit.

Thank you for your kind words. I am definitely not impressed with her panicked phone call. I don't know what would make her think that while her husband is in the midst of a medical emergency, immediately call your child sobbing and tell them scary info then hang up. I seriously was afraid he was going to DIE. And there was nothing I could do here, a million miles away.
