We have completed all our paperwork, other than our health forms. (So interviews are next!)
My dr appointment isn't until December 5, but I'm terrified high blood pressure or high bmi/weight (bmi is close to 35) is going to stop us from adopting. Anyone know the rules? Have experience?
I'm working on it, but obviously it won't be good by December 5!

Re: Higher BMI people/health forms
Are you doing IA or DIA (sorry I can't remember!)? Domestically I was told it shouldn't be a problem, but internationally I know it varies by country. My DH and I also have higher BMI's (guesing we are also in the 30s) and were told we would not qualify as PAP's in South Korea.
We ended up FTA and our weight was never an issue, and practically speaking I have seem some people larger than us at our training sessions...so there's a lot of flexibility.
Your agency should be able to help you with questions like this. Good luck!
We are doing DIA.
