This is a check-in for anyone with a loss or EDD in April. Join us and tell us a bit about yourself. 

This month is a month about thanks. Let's look for some positivity and share what we are thankful for.

I am thankful for all of the lovely ladies that share there stories, show support, give advise, care for each other, and build blanket forts with snacks and booze. We have all experienced great loss but we have gained some awesome friends.

Thanks for the check in @rubysi. I hope you are well. 

I am cruising along in my first natural cycle in over 6 months. It's kinda weird, you know? It feels weird not to have a bazillion monitoring appointments, etc. It's kind of nice and disconcerting at the same time. 

I am thankful for a husband that is amazing. He puts up with all my crazy and then some! I am so very thankful for all the ladies on here. I am constantly amazed at the depth of everyone's spirits and how deep our camaraderie goes. Lots of love and ((Hugs)) ladies!!

I hope your body enjoys the break from medication. I know mine did the month I had off. It was nice to not be bloated everyday. ((Hugs))

Hi I just joined the board last night my EDD was 4/25/15. Im thankful for my DH taking on us a 7day cruise to Cozumel, Cayman Islands and Jamaica the beginning of the month. And for have my first normal cycle since our loss.

Hello, 

My DD was April 22nd, and I am thankful for my family and a job that keep me inspired and my mind somewhat off the sadness on most days. 

Wish I was going to Cozumel though! Have a great time @Firefly143 !

I'm thankful for so many things, right now I'll choose my hubby's family. We have a ladies shopping trip this weekend. I couldn't care less for shopping and it will be tiring, but I love the female camaraderie.

I am sorry you have waited so long for af, the dr should get things rolling. ((Hugs))

I know this could have been so much worse, but I have just felt like I kept getting kicked when I was down with this miscarriage. I should stop putting pressure on myself, but I was really hoping to have a baby before I hit AMA. That happens in September and I've accepted that's just reality for me if I stay on this track. I have a big career goal I want to do, but there is a large physical component and I can't do it until after we've had a child. By this time I thought I would already have achieved that goal and been doing it for a year. There's still time, but it's quickly catching up to me. I will choose if I have to, and it will be family, but it's so hard to give up on a dream.

AMA doesn't just happen at 35, it's not a switch. Try not to stress yourself out about that at this point. Good luck with the career goal. I hope you can have the family and career you want.
