I'm back! (loss mentioned)

I haven't been on TB in a few weeks. I'm part of the FB group, but I miss you ladies. My phone broke a few weeks ago. It just decided to stop coming on. I got a new one about 2 weeks ago. I can get back on TB again.

DS is walking! He started about 3 or 4 weeks ago. He has 6 teeth and can climb on the couch now.


Loss mentioned now.

The past few days have been extremely tough on my DH and I. At about 1:30 on on Thursday, Nov 13th we got a call that one of our dear friends was in the hospital dying. My husband drove up before work and got to see him. I drove up Friday and got to see him. We both said good bye yesterday before he was taken off life support. He had a skull fracture with a brain hemorrhage, but no bruises, bleeding or anything else. Nobody knows what happened.

All of us still can't believe this happened and it still feels so very unreal. He was an amazing person and father. The next few days will probably be tough while plans are made.

I'm going to try to get on TB more then I have been. I need the support from you ladies.

Sorry to hear things weren't good and that they took him off life support. That is a very difficult thing to do, very sad u all had to deal with this. Prayers to all of u.

Thank you ladies. As you can imagine we are all heartbroken and in complete shock. We are all very worried about his son who doesn't have either one of his parents now. I think it will get better after the funeral. I wish they could give us answers to all of our questions that will probably never be answered.

YmThank you ladies. The funeral is Saturday and DH has been asked to be a pallbearer. It's going to be hard, but it is nice that they aren't keeping his body for evidence so his family can lay him to rest. I do hope his son is allowed to come say good bye to him.
