Question and a little fun *Update*

I'll start with my question for those of you who have had a D&C.  I had my D&C 31 days ago and I'm just curious how long it took for your period to come back.  Mine were extremely irregular to begin with (anywhere from 23 to 73 days), but as I got closer to my bfp they started to get between 32 and 37 days.  I would really appreciate someones personal experience with it.

Second, I am about to burst with excitement!  I have set up a surprise weekend getaway for DH and me next weekend.  He has no clue about it and the teacher in me has created an extremely cheesy secret mission file.  It gives him his mission (should he choose to accept) and then lists our itinerary for the weekend and our hotel reservation.  To give you a quick rundown, we're touring a brewery (he's a beer fan), going to a natural history museum (he loves history), going to an amazing restaurant for dinner, and then hitting a few pubs that night.  I can't wait to surprise him.  We definitely need this getaway to reconnect and have some fun after what we've been through.
  
Update! So AF visited me this morning! I think it's the first time I've been excited about it in a long time! Lol So that makes this cycle 34 days, which for me is amazing as I've gone up to 73 days before. Just happy to have some normalcy in my life again. :). Thank you all for your support!     All of mine have been natural so no help with the d&c question but wanted to say how cool your secret mission is! Sounds like it's going to be fun :)
    I am not sure how to say this without getting a "solicitation" warning so I guess I just say that I am not longer active on THIS site.

    It took about 53 days for AF to show up and then that was a 52 day cycle. After adding it all up, I didn't have a "normal" one until almost 3.5 months after my D&C ... I'm still a little wonky but close to how I was before getting pregnant. I have had friends who bounced right back so there's no way to really predict how your body will respond. 

    I am jealous of your planning abilities with the Secret Mission - you guys will have a blast I am sure!

    AF returned about 40 days after both my D&Cs.
    Your plans sound like so much fun!  I'm sure your DH will love it!

    Me 34 DH 31, Together since 2003, Married August 20, 2011,  TTC since May 2013
    BFP #1 August 24, 2013! MMC discovered Oct. 3, 2013, D&C Oct. 4, 2013
    BFP #2 December 17, 2013! MMC discovered Jan. 28, 2014, D&C Jan. 30, 2014
    Testing done: male with complete Trisomy 16, not hereditary. Tested me for clotting disorders, all normal.
    Feb. 2014 all clear again to TTC!  Will start progesterone supplementation with the next BFP just in case.       Oct. 2014 more testing just because, thyroid and autoimmune panels = normal.  Diagnostic U/S = no abnormalities.  Will keep trying for 3-6 more months, doctor still optimistic!

    BFP #3 December 11, 2014!  Beta #1 14DPO = 122.4 Beta #2 17DPO = 296.8 Please stick little one and be our Rainbow!

            Perfect little heartbeat of 156 seen 1/7/15 :)

    It took 32 days for AF to return after my D&C in August.  My RE told me that if I didn't get AF by 6 weeks post D&C to call and they would do a follow-up scan to see if there was any retained tissue.  I hope she shows soon for you, the waiting is so tough.

    And I love your secret mission get away!  Very creative idea!

    I love your idea for a secret mission getaway with YH! Good to focus on the two of you as you wait for your body to get back to normal.

    I didn't have a D&C but I'm currently 38 days post Cytotec induced MC with no AF in sight. My beta was zero 19 days ago and I had an ultrasound confirming no retained tissue. I'm also hoping things get back to normal soon.

    5/2014 started testing with RE, me:  HSG normal, normal AMH, no cysts; DH: great sperm

    7/2014 Clomid (monitored) + TI: BFN
    8/2014 Clomid (monitored) + TI: BFP #1: 9/12/2014, EDD 5/22/2015, MMC 10/11/2014 8w1d
    11/2014 Clomid + Novarel + IUI 12/5/14: BFFN

    Great secret mission idea!

    AF has returned at 4 and 5 weeks after D&Cs

    4 Losses (2003, 2008, Apr 2012, & Oct 2012)
    All RPL and IF testing with multiple REs = normal

    5 IUIs = BFN

    All AL are welcome

    AF arrived for me 31 days after my D&C but my doctor told me anywhere from 2-6 weeks is "normal." My cycles before my loss were always 26-28 days. The last three post-loss have been a little wonky. Everyone is different. It's hard not knowing what to expect but I wouldn't worry unless you go 6 weeks without AF.
    Super cute plan for your and your H. Have a great time! It will be good for the two of you to get away and have some fun!

    Love the secret mission idea! Hope you both enjoy the getaway.

    AF showed up about 5 weeks after my D&C.

    My cycles went back to normal after my d&c with AF retuning after 32 days. With my most recent cp it took 55 days. It was maddening.

    *I am no longer regularly posting on TB because of the fucked up debacle of Jan 2015 when administrators banned long-term members and mods with no notice and completely dismantled a community full of women who cared about each other.  If you see me posting it's only to give support to a poster who needs it or to post something important enough that I need to say.  I am no longer responding to  anything other than issues that affect people who I care about*
    37 years old, MH is 42
    TTC since 2010; Dx Unexplained Infertility; possible male factor 
    August 2012 through June 2013:  6 IUIs with clomid and trigger shot, all BFNs
    7/2013, Pregnant! Unmedicated--we were on a treatment break
    8/20/13 no heart beat; 8/23/13 d&c
    3/15/14 IVF #1:  Lupron/Follistim/Menopur; ER 3/10 resulting in four transfer grade blastocysts, transferred one pretty blast and froze the remaining three. BFN. 
    Natural FET in May cancelled because the universe hates me my hormones were not cooperating.
    6/24/14 FET #1: transferred two pretty embryos; BFN   
    8/28/14 FET #2: BFP, ended in Chemical pregnancy

    Done with medical intervention and getting used to the idea of CFNBC.

    My AF returned 35 days after my D&C. My doctor told me it can take between 4-6 weeks for AF to show up after the procedure. 

    Hope you and your DH enjoy your getaway!

    I think it took me about 6 weeks. I am on AF #3 since then, and my periods are very light, although this month is a teeny bit heavier. Not sure what that means or if it was good or bad! That DNC was my first.

    DD born at 38w2d on 5-27-16. Finally!!

    Pregnant again with OE. EDD 11/9/17 Girl!
