Hi I am suffering through a MMC at 7 weeks and chose a D&C. I chose to try and conceive as soon as my doctor clears me. I was just wondering if anyone had any advice or if anyone can tell me how long it took for them to conceive after a miscarriage?
I'm sorry for your loss. Waiting for your doctor to clear you is a good idea. For advice? Read the stickies and stick around. We're good at support here.
As for conceiving again, that's a question you're better off asking over on PGAL since we're pretty much one and all still trying.

I'm sorry for your loss, but none of us here are pregnant. Many of us haven't conceived since our losses, and those who have experienced additional losses. This really isn't the best place to ask that question....maybe try the Pregnant After a Loss board.

The sad fact is that some will never get rainbows.
As for your question.
After my first loss at 21 weeks I waited 6 months, I got pregnant my 2nd cycle trying and miscarried at 7 weeks. I then waited nearly 18 months to TTC again and got pregnant on my 5th cycle which turned into a CP.

Please don't say that... Not everyone gets a rainbow baby..
I understand that it's really new to you, so take time to heal and process before jumping back into thinking about TTC. How long are you benched per your dr's orders?
People weren't upset, but lurking goes a long way on any of these boards. Reading the post "Read this before posting" would have explained why this isn't the appropriate place to ask about pregnancy after a loss. We aren't pregnant.
Thank you. The doctor said I'm benched for a month and then I have to go back after that because I had a really big cyst on my ovary.
I am sorry. I should have read the post before posting.

Ashley, Just wanted to add that you are not alone- I wouldn't have known to look at a different board... I too recently had a MC in September was 7 weeks along, but thankfully didn't have to have a D&C.The hubby and I are now TTC again... crossing my fingers that AF doesn't come next week.... Good luck to you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I understand why you ask that question here as people have anxiety over it taking forever to concieve again. All you want after a loss is a chance to try again. Everyone is different some conceive again in one month others it may take years. Thats why it is so hard for people to see that question on here. I pray that you get lucky early. I pray we all do but thats just not the case always though I really wish it could be.
