let me just start off by saying... i hate my current job...it is so boring, i feel like beating my head against the door every time i walk in this place.
i had a super fantastic job that i left this past summer as a real estate office manager. i had worked there for almost 3 years. i only left bc another "better" job came along at a motorsports company but within 2 months of being at that super fantastic motorsports job, i got laid off and the company went under.
i have had this boring job in an office were everyone literally NEVER leave their cubes EVER. i only took it bc i needed a job in order to keep our standard of living although i did take a pay cut.
No, I went to school to get my teaching credentials but couldn't get a job paying enough to survive on my own. So I got lucky getting into accounting and now I go to school off and on for Business Accounting.

-local government. I'm a Deputy Municipal Clerk, going to get me RMC, just 3 classes and state exam away
-Hellll to the No! I went to school for fine arts. I just needed a job and although I DO NOT enjoy my job, I fell into a perfect opportunity and I enjoy the pay and the benefits...only 24 more year until retirement! (ifI last that long, ha!)
After changing my major 5 or 6 times, I managed to obtain my degree in English. And now I am the Director of Marketing for a smaller company that owns/manages insurance agencies. It's relatively boring which is why I spend all day on here. Very soon, I would like to go back to school for nursing, something I started and regret not finishing.
Me (33). DH (37). DD (2.2012). MCs x4. After 4 years & 7 months, due 4.2018!
I work in public relations. I can't say that I love it, but I work with really great people and our company treats us well.
I have a BA in public relations and a BA in mass media news. I worked at a PR firm right out of college and hated it. I then worked in event planning and sales for 4 years and loved it, but the company treated us like garbage and paid me crap, so I left. That's why I am where I am. I don't know what's next.
I got a degree in nuclear engineering, but my current job doesn't really put that to use. The degree is too specialized for that I'm doing now. I don't plan to be in the job forever though.
I'm a lawyer at a law firm. I practice employment litigation. I definitely use my law degree, but I've never really used my undergrad degree (psychology).
I'm a Project Officer with a national alcohol charity. I have my own project that I run which networks people who work with children/young people affected by alcohol.
My BA is in Women's Studies and Masters is in Social Research. While not directly related to everyday use, I use skills from both I guess!
I have my BA in English and Linguistics and a Post-Bachelors degree in Paralegal studies. I'm doing what I went to school the second time for. Even though I nonly graduated two years ago, I'm thinking about changing careers. No offense to the lawyers here, but I'm tired of baby-sitting grown men who blame me for the work they didn't get done.
I am the manager of a garage that my parents own. I went to college and did a year in an advertising program but I love my job too much here so I finished the first year and came back to work full time.
I am the Director of Special Events for an event space/private club in DC.
I have 2 degrees, one in psychology (BA) which I don't use but I feel that it helps me deal with my crazy clients and the second is in Event Managment...which I guess I use!
Re: poll: overdone but stimulate me pls.
