Double Stroller Thread

I am trying to pull up some of the double stroller threads from our board, but when I search it gives me results from all the boards even though I have only Feb 2013 selected.  Does anyone have a link to this thread or any tips on how to find it? Thanks, ladies!

Youre welcome!! I found it on mobile (not the bump app, just in safari browser) at the bottom of the page. There's a search bar that worked for me :-/

And there's a ton more posts from 2012 before we had our babies! Lol

Ahhh maybe that was my problem- I was using the wrong search bar. Awesome, this makes my life easier! Thanks again :)

  • Kinderwagon is the best I have seen for the record :)  Very compact.  I have a combi side by side and like it well enough for neighborhood walking, but it would probably not be ideal for having to take in the car a lot.

We are so thankful that our second daughter, Lillian Elizabeth "Lily", was born healthy and happy on February 11, 2013.  We love her to pieces.

We lost our first daughter, Hannah Grace on May 4, 2011.  She was buried on May 14 during a beautiful service at my home church. We are grateful that if she could not be here with us, that she is healed and whole with the Lord. We look forward to the day when we will get to meet her. We love her so much.

  • Just because I just got one...  I forever searched for a City Mini Double GT after much much research and bump searching.  People liked this best and said it went through doors.  Bobs were out because a) they did not fit through many doors; b) wheels must be removed before fitting into a trunk; c) my kids are tall.  I looked for other side by sides, like an Indy Twin, but those are so pricey, even used on craigslist.  I could never find a City Mini Double GT on craigslist, after looking for about a year, and although there were many City Minis, I did not think the standard wheels would do well on our trashed sidewalks and off road.  I finally bought a used Phil and Teds Classic, and the new ones aren't super super pricey either.  People do not love Phil and Teds as much as they once did, but I really like it.  It is very easy to push and control, which is a common complain among tandem users.  My tall toddler fits in both the front and back, which was what worried me about a City Select.  And after using it on a trip to the library and to the drugstore from my home, I noticed that it fit places a side by side would not--on a narrow strip of sidewalk where the drugstore had some propane tanks, through the aisle in the library...  It also fit in my Prius trunk with a lot of room to spare.  It does not have a million configurations, which would be fun, but you can put your toddler on top and have your newborn lay below and flat, or put your toddler in back and use your carseat so that your newborn faces you, and then there is the standard configuration with one seat on top and one below for when the newbie gets older.  My toddler does not mind riding in the back.  I am glad I did not get something even larger because I can already see how it would be a pain to handle.
  • Great advice, thanks!!!

  • @Poppy523‌ I wanted the city select double. I ended up with the Baby Trend Double Navigator. It's freaking HUGE, but I've only encountered one door it wouldn't go through (at my voting place). It's great though. I actually like that it has the done l double front wheels because E can (and does) climb all over it. Also, it has support huge under baskets. I can put my Thirty-one utility tote (diaper bag) in upright with plenty of room to reach in and dig around.

So it's a win for me.
