Late period but negative pregnancy tests.

Hey ladies!

So I just wanted to let everyone know that you an take negative hpt after negative hpt and still be pregnant.

I missed 3 periods. Every doctor I spoke to kept telling me I wasn't pregnant. I took over 10 hpt and a urine test for my doctor and they were all negative. My doctor even prescribed me Provera to jumpstart my period and NOTHING HAPPENED! Two weeks after that my doctor finally ordered me a blood test and to the doctor and nurse's surprise I WAS PREGNANT! It was stressful and frustrating but if you feel like you're pregnant, screw the process and demand a bloodtest.

I hope my rare case help others like me!

Doesn't help me because I don't have that very rare condition that causes HCG not to be processed in my urine.


So how far along are you? What was your HCG?

So how far along are you?  There is a very good possibility that you weren't pregnant when you took all those tests.

I'm confused to as to why this is here but I'll bite: I'm agreeing with @petrichor10‌ I highly doubt all the tests were wrong, including your doctor's tests. It's way more likely (and common) you ovulated very late and just recently got pregnant. Have you had your dating ultrasound yet?

My bet that OP doesn't come back.  She is going to sit on her throne of smugness until the dating ultrasound.  And then she'll head over to the July or August bmb.

@T1green DH and I were trying for a year and a half, and I actually got 50 tests for $19 on Amazon, lol.

You should see my HPT stash... it's almost comical at this point. I've got something like 40 wondfos, 10 walmart cheap pink dyes, 3 frers, and 2 digis.

Hahaha pinto! I did this too. My SO found a digi in the trash like two weeks after we found out. He's still laughing at me and he has ABSOLUTELY no idea how many were in between those! Lol

Wow! I posted to share my story and to help those who are going through a similar situation feel like they are not alone. And not to be attacked by 20 [edited by mod]. Thats what this "community" is about, helping and supporting moms. I am pregnant and have been since the end of august. You are all sooooo welcoming to new moms. NOT. If you're only on here to talk shit, go ahead and delete yourselves haters.

I am pregnant. I know now that I'm pregnant, after going through some stuff. I thought posting would be helpful and showing that this stuff happens and don't discredit what Ur body is telling you even thought people are telling u otherwise. BUT THEN I was attacked. Why would a pregnant girl attack another pregnant girl? I'm sooo blown away.

Then processed to call everyone bitches. Have you looked around at all? Read other threads? This place isn't here to help anyone except the parent company who knew it. ETA: I'm still waiting to hear the whole story, you know since she has been preg since august and when her us was to confirm all this. She skirted around those questions.

Because we were confused by your post. They also asked you questions and you failed to answer those.

Did you have a dating ultrasound to confirm your May due date? Or are you going based off LMP?

Yes i did. My due date is May 20th. And I've said that I was pregnant and for sure having my baby in may countless times.
