@silverwings72 is in l&d being induced!! Final update!

FYI my kind, amazing, and beautiful labor buddy @silverwings72 was admitted to l&d this evening to be induced due to high BP issues discovered on her NST today. She's still closed and cervix is high, so she thinks it may be awhile. Meds are starting now.
Please leave t&ps for a safe and smooth delivery of her baby boy and I will update as I hear more!
Update #1- the meds are starting to work with contractions starting but she can't feel them yet...planning to meet with the doctor soon to discuss if pitocin is needed
Update #2 contractions are getting stronger but still manageable. She's had some MP and bloody show and is willing to share pics!
Update #3: just heard from her- she says "I'm at a 3, 80% thinned out, still really high at -3 station. Doc says I'm making good progress, much faster than they would have anticipated."
Update #4: she got her epidural overnight and is still slowly progressing. She is now 4 cm dilated, and they broke her water and upped the pitocin.
Update #5: she's progressed to 9 cm and baby should be here in the next few hours. She is asking for our prayers!
Final update: baby boy arrived at 257 pm California time 7 pounds 19.5 inches. She's tired but happy to have avoided a c section.
