Oh.my. God. I just got the call that one of the little kiddos grim daycare has lice. I coped with this news by eating the cookies I was baking in a bowl with egg nog. Like cereal.
Ugh, news no one wants to hear. I worked in a classroom a few years ago that had a kid with chronic lice. Best tips are to not keep hair too clean (they like clean hair) and hairspray. The can't stick in hairspray. Also, you can find some natural lice repellant sprays. Good luck, hope it's isolated and she doesn't get it.
Im a cosmetologist, go get some tea tree oil if you have to treat you DDs hair. Pour a whole small bottle on her scalp and hair tie the hair up and put on a shower cap. Leave it in as long as possible (overnight works best)then rinse and wash and ccondition in the morning. The tea tree oil smothers the lice and they die then the oil helps the lice slide off the hair without pulling. . Good luck
