Little man #2 is here

Its taken me so long to post, but DS2 made his appearance November 4. He was 3 days past my edd, but I was able to avoid any induction! I had 24 hour of walk thru/talk thru contractions every 10 minutes and 6 hours of very quick and active labor. He was 7 lbs 13 oz and 21.5 inches. He was over his birth weight at a week pp due to no bfing troubles like I had with my first. Recovery has been night and day (ds1 was over 9 lbs and 23 inches) with no tearing, no stitches, and no need for pain medicine, not even Tylenol. I'm so thankful because I don't know that I could have dealt with the same recovery as my first and chased after my toddler.

Big brother has been really good, but is definitely asserting his independence a little more now. He insists on picking out what he's going to wear in the morning, and he has discovered that mom and dad don't wear diapers like he and baby brother do, so as many have shared with me lately, potty training may be around the corner.

As far as pp body goes, the weight is coming off just as easily as the first, but my hips got so much wider with this one that I'm hoping they go down a little bit, so I can fit better into my pants.
