I volunteered to watch my sister's 5 kids tomorrow while she works/attends a fundraiser. Now we are expecting some snow so the fundraiser was postponed and I am off the hook. I love my niblings, but I'd much rather lounge around and be a bum with just my 2 boys on a snowy day

I also still get rage-y when people tell mothers who want a med free birth that "you'll be begging for the drugs" or get all smug if someone who wanted a med free birth ends up with meds.
Seriously, fuck off. It's a personal choice and no matter how big of a douche they were being about having a "natural" birth, you are an even bigger douche for taking pleasure in the failure of their birth plan.

I think all the people already TRYING for babies are fucking crazy. It's a struggle everyday to not lose my shit with my toddler and I have a VERY easy/pleasant infant. It's still hard!
Not only that but my PJs are a t-shirt and leggings that I'm wearing as pants.
For some reason, I make an exception for wearing the clothes you slept in out, if they are not true pjs. If you are wearing flannel sponge bob pants and dropping your kid off at school, I'm judging, if it's sweatpants you wore to bed, I give you a pass.
If your wearing leggings and a t shirt and the shirt isn't covering your butt, I judge.
That being said, my FFFC...
I've let my son wear what he slept in to school a few times when it's sweat pants and a t shirt as long as he had a bath and put them on clean the night before. It's just easier than fighting to put a clean out fit on.
I never planned on doing CIO with my LO. Didn't want anything to do with it. But, this week she will.not.fall.asleep without being held and every time I try to put her in her bed she wakes up and cries. She was completely fine before this week, but now it's getting ridiculous and I'm at a loss of what to do. I'm getting no sleep as I tried to hold her until she's sleeping long enough for me to try to move her to her bed, but she manages to wake herself up every time. So far I haven't been able to see if she will stop crying bc she will go for a full 5 minutes and reassuring her does absolutely nothing. So I eventually pick her back up. She's in the PNP in out room, but I may have to put her in her own crib and just let her cry until she wears herself out. I feel like I've tried everything else!

This is pretty much what has led to me allowing dd to cio before going to sleep at night. Even if I hold her she gets fussy and cries. I felt like if she's going to cry. then fall asleep in my arms, and then cry again when I put her down, I should just try putting her down and letting her cry some.
Now I put her down and she cries for about 10 minutes and then sleeps through the night. A few times she cried more than 10 minutes and I went in and picked her up and comforted her for about 10 minutes, then put her back down and she would cry for 5 minutes and then go asleep for the rest of the night.
I just spent $80 on DS1's school photos. I already spent $300 on photos of both the boys that I was surprising DH with for Christmas and using for Christmas cards.
I texted DH and told him I got suckered in because DS1 is so cute and photogenic and I had to have every pose and he goes "I better see a halo in those photos for that price."
On the bright side, another mother told me it gets a lot easier to not feel like you have to purchase every photo as they get older. She admitted the first year with her oldest she bought every single portrait in the package because she couldn't bear the thought of her baby's photos getting thrown out, which almost led me to spent $250 to buy every single portrait in the package, haha.
But I'm still currently trying to chop my grocery list to make up for the money I spent on the pics.

Normally I would agree with you. However, I know a girl who talked so much junk about going all natural, letting your body do what it.s designed to do blah blah blah...just generally talking crap to all who could here her. When she ended up opting for an induction and section a small part of me was smug about it

I'll meet you part-way on this. No, my t-shirt didn't cover my butt BUT I was wearing a coat and didn't get out of the car.
In my defence, I got woken up unexpectedly to take her to school because mil (who was supposed to take her) is sick. I don't usually go out in my PJs unless it's an emergency.
I guess a related confession (since I detest people wearing leggings as pants) should be that I'm doing so because I ran out of clean PJs. I should be doing laundry right now.
The other day I was bored and I sent a pm to @ CatFishTheTVShow. I wanted to hear what they wanted to say. They replied only for me to call them. When I googled the number it was linked to a reality tv producer in Cali. When faced with the reality of placing the call, I decided, I aint got time for that, but it made me feel that the account here may have really been a producer fishing for more input in the story rather than an AE getting shits and giggles.
I can't even share this story with anyone in my real life because it is so outrageous.
My brother came over to fix our dryer last night and also ended up fixing our vacuum cleaner - which was not working properly because there was probably enough dog fur clogging it up to make up a whole new litter of puppies....YIKES.
Also, I have big plans for wine and vacuuming tonight!
I've been to the Y 3 days this week. Figured since I SAH now, I def have the time. The best part? I get to shower without worrying about DD. It's blissful. My husband asked me what my goal was for # of days a week and I told him I wasn't sure. I might just go every day.
Edit: they have free, awesome childcare for members at the Y for up to two hours at a time.
1) So. Much. Laundry. We have been looking for socks on our sofa for close to a month. The pile goes down, then new laundry gets put there. Vicious, hateful cycle.
2) I seriously try to mobile bump to keep up. Then I'll be neck deep in an incredible thread...my thumb accidentally hits a posted meme or pic which then sends me AWAY from the thread & I have to basically start all over. I swear I could throw my phone in the fireplace when it happens bc it ticks me off SO MUCH.
3) my house probably won't be acceptable for Thanksgiving company. I'm struggling to keep up. It sucks.

I should have posted this yesterday, since its more of an UO, but I can't stand mom's who post multiple times a day about everything lilttle thing thier LO does. No one really cares that you and LO are at CVS and LO spit up all over the floor.
This same friend post photo albums at the end of every weekend with at least 100 pictures. Moderation is key.

ZOMG. If I was a SAHM, I'd totally do this.
If mine had free daycare I would too!!!
Ours has a program you can pay for, but they'll only watch the kids for an hour while you take a class. Boo.
That's xrappy. Ours also does this date night thing twice a month for $15- they will watch you LO from 6:30-11 pm. Epic. Waiting for Decrmbers schedule to come out.
Made dinner, fed both kids and myself, bathed both kids, put laundry away, put DD2 to bed, put DD1 to bed early because she asked to go to sleep, finished what I was doing and got in bed...realised it's only 7:30.
I told DH I'd clean tonight. Instead I went to BRU and bought DD winter pjs and sleep sacks. Now I'm exhausted. I'm totally emptying the few things out of the bottom of the dishwasher and dumping all the dirty dishes in the bottom. Everything else is getting shoved places. Smoke and mirrors my friends!

It is. I just looked it back up in case it was cheaper than I thought, or they changed it, but it's actually 2.5 hours max a day and $3 a kid or $30 a month. It was worth looking into though!
Mine is 2hrs max $2.50 an hour per kid. No monthly one pay that would be nice though
