I'm so disappointed with my so call best friend and I am aware that this might sound petty. I was recently married in June. She was married 3 years ago but only a civil wedding and was planning to do a big vow renewal at the 5 year mark so May 2016. My wedding was a destination and the minute we got back she changed her date from May 2016 to May 2015. Well she was the matron of honor at my wedding and ever since I got married she has been acting weird. I introduced her to a friend of mine and turns out she is been weird because I wont be in her bridal party and her husband who is my husband's closest friend is trying to force her. me and this girl have been close friends for years and im a little disappointed that she doesnt want me in her bridal party but more disappointed that she just wont talk to me about it and is obviously talking to everyone else around her. To say the least i dont see this friendship going any further not because im not in the wedding but because of her just not being honest... She said "i know this will hurt her feelings and im not ready for her to stop talking to me so Im going to wait to tell her"...

You really can't expect to be in someone's wedding. That's such a personal choice and being her best friend might not be what she's considering as a qualifier ya know?

When I got married my entire bridal party was family because that's our tradition and that's just how we roll.

I got so little sleep last night and I'm pretty sure AF will be here soon, so I am a huge ball of cranky today.
So this time of year is the busy time at work for my husband. He leaves early, comes back home when I'm already in bed.
So this morning he presses his snooze button sooooo many times. I almost threw him out of the bed or yanked the covers off. I just wanted him to go away. I wasn't particularly sweet to him this morning, but now I feel bad.

@pinkcamino I totally get and just wished she was upfront about it instead of making it a topic of conversation. I just want to point out she choose another close friend and her brothers girlfriend, it just stings a little that she wont even talk to me about it and i have to act like i dont know. im just being a big baby about it! she really has no other friends and the fact that she undervalue my friendship really stings but ill get over it... DH is the best man and im annoyed lol

FFFC #1 : I don't know how Gilmore Girls ends. I'm on season 8 and Luke and Lorelai just got engaged.

FFFC#2: I am WAY WAY too emotionally invested. I teared up. 

FFFC#3: I want Lorelai to end up with Luke for good, but I'm so afraid stupid Christopher is going to come back into the picture and fuck this shit up

FFFC#4: I am actually GLAD I have a punctured abdomen so I can sit here today and do nothing but watch GG and not feel guilty that dinner won't be ready for DH when he gets home. I've already got Domino's Pizza on speed dial.

Hmmmm... sex toys and effects of 7% beers... this FFFC is entertaining to say the least.

I think @momentomori needs to tell us what kind of 7% beer so we can avoid it... I also think @CFearsy and @furrypaws need to tell us what sex toys too... if it's good enough to play with alone and/or good enough to potentially need two then the rest of us need to know.

For the record, my favorite sex toy is my JimmyJane Form 2 (Pricy, but darnit it's good) and my favorite high grav beer is Old Chub. It doesn't cause me to poop my pants and tastes good too.

My fffc - I totally don't believe the - test I got last weekend and I'm thinking I'm going to go get another test, even though I know logically that the "symptoms" I'm having are probably just from a bug that's going around v.v

ok, my FFFC is a little long so bear with me. backstory is important. 

We went to our AL support group Tuesday. They were having their own little Thanksgiving potluck. This woman brought some AWESOME green beans in the most southern form imaginable. She told us they were made with soy sauce, 1 stick of butter, brown sugar, and 7 slices of bacon. On green beans. (In Alabama y'all in case you haven't noticed). But gosh they were DELICIOUS. (FFFC#1)

A topic in the support group was "What brings you joy after loss?" 

Now - understand that DH and I have a really really morbid sense of humor and we're in a group with a bunch of church ladies. 

We didn't say it, but DH and I's "reason to keep going" is "well, we haven't done heroin yet" It's gotta be something worth trying with people giving up their lives to chase it. (FFFC #2)

(Did I mention DH and I have a morbid sense of humor) 

So, ladies answer some textbook responses about what brings them joy "family, friends, etc" and me and DH stay quiet and munch on our delicious sweet bacon-y/buttery sinful green beans. 

So, we're driving home from support group and we're dishing on the textbook "joy" responses and being all sarcastic because that's how we roll (FFFC#3) and we both suddenly have GOT to go #2. As in - locked and loaded struggling to hold things back. 

We have one bathroom. So we run into the house trying to beat each other to the toilet. DH gets there first and lets the first "delivery" go and I kick him off the can because I literally can't hold it in. Well, he then kicks me off to finish and I'm not done yet so we just sit there literally shitting ourselves with laughter, fighting each other for the one toilet we've got in the house.  (FFFC#4)

So, what "brings me joy" after loss? The fact that DH and I can fight each other over a damn toilet when we've got the runs and laugh about it.

Yup Montgomery area, so not far from you. I actually used to drive through Dothan every weekend for 4 years (DH lived in Montgomery, I was in Tallynasty)
