Acupuncture: Do you go weekly?

I am normally a type A personality whose always high-strung.  During this third pregnancy I decided to take some unconventional approaches.  I have been getting acupuncture since last February preparing for my IVF journey and this pregnancy.

Well the journey has been a long one, one that I do not regret taking at all. But with all that is happening with my HCG levels but having a HB (which was a beautiful sight to see this past Monday) the anxiety has been very strong and keeping it in check has been difficult. It's been a battle, one that I need to stifle for our baby.

If you are feeling a lot of anxiety for whatever reason you may want to take a stab (LOL!!) at trying acupuncture.  I swear by it.  I'm not what you call a new age type person or use a lot of homeopathic remedies with herbs and such but for some reason acupuncture does it for me.  I up'd my sessions to every other day until the 19th and am so glad that I did.  Of course if you do decide to try it out, make sure the acupuncturist has a lot of experience with pregnancy and ask for those references.

It's another route to take or consider to keep your balance.  My acupuncturist lives right down the road from me so that's a good thing for me, not so good on the pocketbook but so be it.
