Diaper Change Question

So this may seem weird, but how long do you go between diaper changes in a toddler? I use cloth and disposable so I'd love to hear from both sides.

I ask cuz I swear people who watch Hannah will either change her too much (which really isn't a bad thing) or they leave her in a diaper WAY past what I feel is reasonable. Like I remember one time I changed Hannah at 7:30 am, dropped her off. Came to pick her up at 12:15, and she was in the same cloth diaper. Her diaper was very wet. But she's been peeing a lot these days so I don't know if she is unusual.

I usually change them every 2-3 hours, with the exception of poopy diapers. We use disposable.

E gets changed usually every 3 hours at the most. 

But it sort of usually goes along with our schedule.  Change when she wakes up, change after her morning poop, change before and after nap, change after afternoon poop, change before dinner and before bed.  So she uses about 7 diapers a day (we use cloth.) 

Sometimes now though she asks to be changed, or she will hold it for a while and doesn't need to be changed, or she will (rarely) go in the potty and put the dry diaper back on.  And occasionally she will chug a ton of water and need to be changed earlier.

About every 3 hours, unless there is a surprise poop. But he's normally a once in the am pooper

I use both also. Cloth mostly, but when T goes to my parents house I have him in disposables. I would say that he gets changed about every 3-4 hours.

I would say every 3 hours +/-   When she gets up in the morning, after a poop... before nap...before dinner and before bed.. unless there is another poop in there somewhere or I feel like her diaper is really full.  We use disposables only.

1-2hrs for cloth and 2-3hrs for disposable.

I am guilty of having a somewhat soggy walker. He gets one in the morning, one at lunch, one at 4pm and then his bedtime one. He tends to poop before bath time so he doesn't require an extra change for that. It is rare for us to use more than 4 in a day. He isn't bothered or rashy and I want my money's worth. I also have never used wipes if he just pees. I have him in a size bigger than his weight says because he has a high rise so the weight based sizing pinches his legs...that also means though that he gets a higher absorbancy so it takes most of that 4-5h stretch to really wet the diaper.

A is a heavy wetter and almost never goes longer than 2.5 hours in CD. She pretty much gets changed at least every 2 hours during the day.

DS is 20 months and in disposables. At daycare they do every 2 hours and a couple a day are listed as dry, which I believe. He seems to be moving towards more of a full emptying rather than trickling all the time like when he was little. At home it's definitely 3 (sometimes 4 if there's a car ride or gym class or something like that in the way) unless there's poop or a huge pee that fills it up noticeably. Will admit though, we were just talking this weekend about how we probably would err on the side of shorter times for the next kid since it's a girl - I feel like a girl could get a lot more uncomfortable a lot quicker with everything else going on down there!!
