12w2d and red blood string?

Hey! Question-I am 12w2d, I just wiped and had a red blood string. It wasn't like a watery discharge, it was a thick string. I had a really bad backache yesterday afternoon and last night. Also my vagina hurt last night and all of today-it hurts like I have had too much sex, but we aren't having sex so I don't know why it would feel like this. I am going to call the doctor if I see any more blood tonight but I just wanted to see if anyone was familiar with this or has had this happen. Thanks, trying not to freak out, yet!

It might be just fine sweetheart but I would book an US asap just for some peace of mind. I am going through some spotting etc at the moment (12+6) and I recommend checking everything xx

Thanks! I was just talking to a pregnant girl I work with today and telling her how I haven't had any bleeding. I guess I jinxed myself, I am going to call the doctor tomorrow even if I don't see anymore blood because my downstairs really hurts and feels like something is wrong.

Sounds like a great idea. No one tells you that this stuff can happen during pregnancy do they?! I saw blood and was like 'uhoh' turns out it can be very common!

I hope so, I am trying to stay calm but that is not in my nature. I will probably have a full blown melt down if I see anymore. Now I just want to go wipe to see what is going on but I guess I will just wait. This is my first and it is a LOT to deal with.

I have been a little constipated. I grabbed a mirror after I saw the blood and I have a hemorrhoid which I didn't know was there, but it wasn't bleeding. I also had only peed at the time I saw the blood.

It could be just a little blood from your cervix, or it could be anything. I'd just call your Dr and tell them. More than likely it's nothing, try not to worry.

Do you think I should just go ahead and call the doctor now? I haven't gone to the bathroom anymore, I was going to wait and see if I have anymore blood and then call.

Thanks! Btw-you were the one who talked me down off ledge when my morning sickness went away at like 8 weeks and came back like a week at 9. I thought for sure I was having a MC then, but no it was just symptoms coming and going.

Okay, so I just wiped and there was nothing, if I see anything else tonight I am just going to call the doctor, if not I will just call the doctor in the morning. Pray for me please! Thanks in advance.

Unless you are bleeding heavily you really can wait to call your Dr tomorrow. There is nothing you Dr can do for you tonight anyway. Just take it easy, feet up, and drink plenty of fluids. FX it was just a fluke.

I just drank a big glass of water and I am about to go to sleep for the night. Hopefully nothing else will happen.

I called the doctor and she is doing an US tomorrow. I haven't had anymore bleeding, she told me to drink a lot of water and rest. She also put me on pelvic rest, which we aren't doing the deed anyways so it doesn't matter.

Went to the doctor, baby is fine. I have a yeast infection and she thinks I had some bleeding from squatting at work too much and carrying too many files at a time. So I just have to take it easy at work.

So glad everything is ok! xx My hematoma spotting has suddenly stopped too - must be the day for it :-)
