I don't mean to get anyone freaked out about their weight gain or lack thereof (PLEASE DON'T!!!), but it's a bit difficult for a FTM to know how the 25-35 pounds of typical weight gain (for someone of normal BMI) is spread across these nine-ish months, as it's not an even distribution. Would love to hear where people stand.
TIA!

Ps 10kgs = 22 pounds
Last pregnancy, I gained nothing first tri, almost twenty pounds second tri, and then got put on a milkshake dirt third tri because I wasn't gaining enough.
So, same body, same activity level, completely different pregnancy gain experience. Every pregnancy is different.
I just had my 19 week appt yesterday and it appears that I have gained 6.5 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. At my 15 week one, I was only up 2 lbs. I haven't upped my calorie intake, and I run as much as I used to, but I can't expect to not gain anything, even if an almost 5 lb jump was shocking to me.
I don't compare myself, my weight gain, bump growth etc to others since we are all different, and as long as my docs are happy with where I am at, then that's all that matters. This is the hardest part of pregnancy for me, so I try to just deal with it as best I can and tell myself that I'll worry about my actual weight/fitness level once I can work out after delivery.

All WelcomeHonestly, I don't think this poll is quite relevant. Especially nit picking weight by every 2 pounds.
A suggestion would be,
- losing weight, OB/MW is not concerned
- losing weight, OB/MW is concerned
- same weight, OB/MW is not concerned
- same weight, OB/MW is concerned
- gaining weight, OB/MW is not concerned
- gaining weight, OB/MW is concerned
So that the women where the health care providers are concerned can relate to eachother & swap advice ?
My relationship with food is kind of messed up. It's been strange to shift out of weight loss and/or maintenance mode, where I've spent most of my adult life. Maybe this seems odd, but I find seeing the wide range to be kind of reassuring. That being said, I can totally see how this could trigger someone.
My doctor and I have an agreement not to mention how much I've gained or lost unless she's concerned. So far, that approach is working for me!
