UK Mums - Which formula should I use? Relocated from the USA

Hi Mums, I am just popping onto this board for the first time and I am looking for some advice.  We just moved from the USA to the UK and my 8 month old is 50% breast fed and 50% formula fed.  We brought some formula with us but we are now running out and I am not sure what formula to buy. I am not so much bothered about the brand, but which stage to buy. 

I see there is follow on milk but I am not sure if this is what I should use.  It states clearly that it is not a breast milk substitute, however, I am still breastfeeding 50% of the time, so my question is:  Follow on milk or the stage 1 milk which babies have at first?.  In the USA the formula we are using (Similac) says from birth to 12 months.

Hope some of you can provide me with a bit of advice as to which type of formula to buy.  Thanks in advance

Hi - I am in the US and am not sure. Maybe a pediatrician's office in the UK may be able to provide some answers for you, just a thought. Does Amazon EU sell Similac to get you through until you get an answer? I am sure you are busy getting settled in.
