membrane stripping

I am 40+6 today. At my appt yesterday I was 1cm & 50% effaced. Doctor stretched me to a 2 & stripped my membrane. I was crampy the rest of the day & extremely uncomfortable. This morning, I lost my MP. Was super excited!!! Was having contractions, but nothing consistent. Now I'm sitting on the couch, feeling nothing. Oh the highs and lows!!

Just had my membranes stripped today! I was 3 cm and 75% dilated. She stretched me to a 4 and did the sweep. I've been a little cranky here and there and now I'm just walking up a storm on the treadmill! Hopefully it works and she decides to come soon! Fingers crossed!

I wish I had a treadmill! I've just been walking up and down my stairs. My dog thinks I'm playing with her & runs up and down with me

Membranes swept Tuesday, no discharge, no consistent contractions...just lots of cramps and false hope.

Had mine swept last Wednesday, 11/19 (my EDD) and still no baby. I was 1.5-2cm dilated and only 50% (same as I was at 38wk). It was uncomfortable but not painful and I did have some contractions and more MP passed afterwards but obviously no baby. My MP continues to evacuate in little bits and I'll go in for my NST next Tues (40wk 6days) and another sweeping but induction is scheduled for next Friday regardless :-\

Have tried it all: sex, spicy foods, lots of walking, acupressure and nothing has worked. Guess we're on this baby boy's timeline...
