Estrogen cream for labial fusion, safe for CD?

We just had DD's 6 month appointment and the doctor pointed out that she has labial fusion, basically the outer lips are sealed shut with a membrane. He prescribed an estrogen based cream to apply 2x daily for up to 6 weeks or until the skin separates. I haven't picked it up yet so I don't know what kind of base the cream is made of, but has anyone ever had to use it or know if it's CD safe?
