Had a not so fun morning in the ER. **updated**

I'm so sorry you're going through this. With my 3rd miscarriage, I had a D&C and had retained tissue leftover that my RE found via hysteroscopy during a fertility workup over two months later. I had had periods and ovulated in the meantime (I was charting). I had a second procedure--an operative hysteroscopy--to remove the retained tissue in August. I would not agree to a 2nd D&C because, like PPs mentioned, it's a "blind" procedure, whereas with the operative hysteroscopy my doctor could see what he was doing and remove everything. 

I really hope your appointment shows all is well and you won't have to have any more procedures.
