Breastfeeding & vitamins

So, I EBF and I'm horrible about taking my prenatals. Anyone else? Is it THAT big of a deal? I try to remember, but with three kids, showering and surviving is a success.

Re: Breastfeeding & vitamins

  • Well since I only have one baby, I really have no excuse for not taking them. I take them once in a blue moon when I remember. Not sure if it's a big deal or not but just wanted you to know your not alone ;-).

  • I use one of those daily pill sorter boxes, otherwise I can't remember if I've taken them or not.

I tend to think LO will be fine. Soon they'll be picking up days old crusty ramen noodles off the floor and eating them, right?

Over here I'm awesome about taking my prenatal (I put the bottle by my toothbrush) but don't ask me about getting DS his vitamin D drops...oops!

  • I suck at both the PNVs and D drops. We're both doing ok :)

  • I take a multi. I found it helped with the restless legs at night. I'm semi good on the d drops.
  • I set my bottle by my toothbrush also. I take them before bed so I see them every night and can't forget.
  • I've forgotten to take my NPVs since I was about 27 weeks pregnant ooops. Both DS and I are fine.
  • So I ran out of vitamins a few months ago and never started taking them again... Oops

  • I suck at remembering. I'm more concerned about remembering #1's Zyrtec so he doesn't turn into a complete asshole.

Congrats to my GP Sister from another mister Bruinsbabe!!

  • It's more important for your own health than the baby's, since your LO gets the best nutrients first and you keep what's left. For instance, if you're already

I take the rainbow light prenatal & love it.

That's my favorite vitamin too. I started taking it in 2011 when I was pg with DS, then just never stopped. Their regular women's multi is good too.
