Pregnant after a Loss

update on my colposcope!

I went ahead and had it done since she said I was very high risk of it coming back with something serious. It was very uncomfortable! She pretty much put me on complete bed rest along with pelvic rest since my cervix was swollen like I had an infection. She want no pressure to be put on my cervix so she is putting me on medications I won't throw up and a stool softner. This is my last pregnancy and going it's going going to be my hardest. But the good news is that we fond out on the 3rd what we are having.

I'm surprised your OB would even do the procedure given that you are pregnant and have had a loss previously. Hope all turns out well.

She only did because my pap smear came back as a very high risk of it becoming something serious. She said if it wasn't for that and that this is my first pap smear that came back like this that she wanted to check it.

  • I've had precancerous results on my paps for years, and my first abnormal was when pregnant. My OB simply won't do it during pregnancy. Hope your results come back ok.
