Doc Appt and Talk with DH-> Done. Now to go back to CD1...

Had my annual exam today.  Thank goodness I talk to you ladies and started charting at CD28.  When I told her I was on CD47 and not pregnant she made me pee in a cup anyway.. and told me if she came back with a smile I would be wrong.  Seriously... why would she say that? I knew I wasn't... and if I didn't talk to you and hadn't been temping I might have gotten excited only to be let down. Geez.  

Anyway- great news!  He thinks the short period I had was too short since it isn't normal for me (I was much longer on BC and without it) and my body is just confused. He didn't make me wait until 60 days, said there is no need for that.  We could do Provera now and get things going again. NO adverse effects.  He did tell me if charting or OPKs started feeling stressful that I should stop... I told him they relaxed me because they made me feel in control and like I had something legitimate to show him and that if I listened to my body I O'd every week and have definitely been pregnant 45 of the 47 days... so he told me to keep temping and I could add OPKs if they made me feel better and he laughed with me about that. 

Some of you may remember from previous discussions DH was all about "seeing what happened" and no stress, which is why I didn't start temping right away.  When I gave him the whole recap of my visit (and the fact that it was reassuring the Dr. didn't talk about early menopause- my fear from BC) he was fine with me charting and OPKs to reassure myself it was possible and everything was back to normal.  Less stress for me.   So end result- looking forward to CD1 so we can temp, and OPK so I can confirm, and jump starting the whole thng. 

Lastly, just wanted to say thank you all for your continued discussions and sharing!  My mom is a nurse and shares all the medical answers, but it is so great to have a group to share all the emotional and "not the norm" stuff with and get reassurance that others are going through it too.  You all are awesome.

@b0710 very productive.  My point was really though (and I realized rereading this that I did a poor job of it coming across) it was a productive appointment and conversation because of the support and conversations on this board.  Big pat on the back to everyone!

PS- Also feel the need to add in case some is lurking from other boards that get upset about people driving up health care costs 1) this was my annual appt anyway so no special appt and 2) they made me take the test even though I knew it would be a BFN.

I'm so glad they were able to start you on Provera.  FX CD1 comes quickly.  This is probably one of the only times you will be happy to see AF.

Great to have answers, an action plan, and a dh onboard with my methods (he's been on board with ttc just not the charting). Thank you all for listening to me whine the last couple of weeks.
