1 nap a day question?

If your LO is down to 1 nap a day, when is it? We've been doing around 11:30/12, and most days will nap for at most an hour. But some days I feel like heis a giant mess by then.

It's usually between 12 and 1 here. But he's naping right now (at 11) because he woke up an hour earlier than usual. I try to follow his lead.

When we first went down to one it was 11 ish.  He was a mess if you tried to push it any later.  Lately it's closer to noon, and he does ok.  He naps for a good 2 hours most days though.

We started with 12, but have now pushed it back to 1.  But she also used to wake up at 6, and now she wakes up at 7.  She sleeps for 2 hours usually.

V has been waking before 6 most days. I don't think he's quite ready to wake up yet, but with DH leaving for work so early, and G inevitably waking up too, I can't get him back to sleep most mornings. V is napping now, and fell asleep somewhere around 10ish I think. But that seems rather early, and i can't push bedtime earlier most nights either.

Unless he is sick or has had a horrible night of sleep, DS usually naps after lunch.

Ours is just immediately after lunch, the exact time varies. Usually between 12 and 12:30. If he got up unusually early or is extra cranky we might just have a snack then earlier nap, but thats rare.

nap is 4 hours after wake up time. But it's not exact every day. R has a great routine with M during the day and he says "at 12:20 he's always sleepy"
ETA nap duration is anywhere from 1-2.5hours
