Crafts with Baby

I would like to make some of our Christmas gifts for family this year and I think the grandparents especially would really like something "made" by LO. I am not very artistic but I have found a few projects that seem easy enough to do (salt dough ornaments, plates with baby's footprints, etc.). I am wondering if anyone has any good ideas that would be fun for us to do together and do not take too much time or artistic ability. Is anyone else making something with baby as a gift this year?

Glad you started this thread.  I was also trying to figure out "handmade" gifts, especially for our parents, for Christmas.  Salt dough ornaments and maybe something using footprints was as far as I've gotten.

Our daycare has what they call "Memories from the Heart".  You can sign up (and pay them) and they will make handmade gifts from LO.  I'll check it out to see what gifts they offer and let you know if there's any good ideas!

We're doing the salt dough ornaments! Now that I think about it, I should probably get on that so I can make extras for the family we're visiting in Florida over Thanksgiving...

@babygabe - I like that one! Some of the ones I found that had you paint the footprint like santa or something were looking a little time consuming/complicated for me haha. That one looks nice and simple

***Lurker here****** I made footprint butterflies with DD2 last year for the grandparents. This year I am getting panoramic canvas and having my 3 complete thumbprint trees. Of course I'll do most of the work for LO, but my DD's will have fun with it. ***Lurker Out**
