SCH?

Hello to all! I have been lurking, but have not yet posted. I had my first ultrasound today (6 wks and 5 days) and had a heartbeat of 138. So relieved....until I found out that I have a subchorionic hematoma. Anyone have experience with this? My doctor said it should resolve itself and not to be too worried, but it might cause some bleeding. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you! So excited to be here! This is my first pregnancy, so I am likely being paranoid.

I had one with my first. I remember being so scared too. I took it easy, no sex, no lifting, no exercise and it resolved itself during 2nd tri. I now have a very healthy and happy 5 year old. But I will never forget the worry!

Thanks to you both! My next u/s is Dec 8th. I am hoping it will resolve itself by then. I really appreciate the advice

I have sch as well that measured at 3cm x 1cm.  I had a gush of blood at 6wks 2days and the ER confirmed that the baby was fine.  I just had my 8wk apt on Monday and they told me that I could probably expect some more bleeding.  My doc said that sch is pretty common and will typically resolve itself.  She instructed me to abstain from intercourse for the time being and they will take a look again at my 12wk appointment to see if there is any change.
