What do YOU want for Christmas?

My in-laws and parents are already asking about Christmas.  I have suggestions for both of our daughters.  I'm wondering what to ask for myself.....There's very little I need right now.  I'm asking for another set of cooking pots.  I need to give them ideas.  Otherwise - I know it's the thought that counts - I get rather interesting gifts, especially from my parents.  :-)  Ideas?  I know I'll think of a boatload of stuff on Christmas Eve, but that's too late :-)

I want money toward a new bicycle.  My oldest has figured out how to ride without training wheels and I'm dreaming of family bike rides with the little one in a seat behind me.  Right now I'm riding my mom's 1970s era Schwinn.

I will probably ask my mom for some Clinique make-up that I wouldn't usually buy myself or some nice perfume.

Or maybe some kitchen type stuff like a garlic press or a salt pig.

DH already got me a purse that I wanted (I found it new on ebay for cheap so technically I bought my own gift).  I want a set of calphalon cookware but that's too expensive for a Christmas gift.  I also want a fitbit so I may have my brother (who drew my name) get me a Target gift card so that I can buy one.

A treadmill. For real. I barely get to see my kid as it is, so I would like to be able to put him in the bouncer while I walk. Or wear him while I walk, without dragging us both out in the middle of winter to go to the gym

What I actually want: new pajamas, new slippers, a Coach wallet, a new hat and scarf, maybe a necklace

What I will tell my ILs I want: restaurant gift card, Loft gift card, that's about it.  They once gave me the same robe and slippers they bought for their 60-year-old friend.  Both were hideous.

New super comfy sheets.  Not flannels or jersey sheets, because I toss and turn and our room is like the frozen tundra so I need to bundle up.  I get tangled in flannels and jersey sheets.  Just super soft, terribly high threadcount sheets.

And warm fuzzy socks.  See frozen tundra comment above.

But DH and I just bought each other a new tankless water heater and boiler, and converted from oil to propane heat.  While it will save us a ton of money in the long run, it was a big up front cost.  So we're taking it easy on Christmas gifts this year.

I always try to get my mom to buy me things I would never spend the money on - from her I would really like the Audrey Cashmere Sweater from Talbots, a couple of Alex and Ani bracelets and things from the Vintage Pearl.

Good rain boots

My DH got me a Vintage Pearl necklace last year for Christmas. LOVED it!

I want a Jawbone Up24 and new slippers, but we aren't really doing gifts this year. The whole family (the 4 of us, my brother's family, my sister and husband, and my mom) are going to FL for the holidays. We rented a house near Fort Myers for a week and then will be doing WDW for a few days. That's our Christmas present.

I want a Little Lending Library for our yard (we are down the block on a street facing the elementary school and there are many retired walkers, too, so think it would get a ton of use)

new Coach bag (with straps long enough to put over my shoulder but not the big long strap)

Chaise lounge for the pool area so I can recline while sitting out there with the kids

Waterproof outdoor speaker (DH might actually get this as a gift, as he wants one too)

Antiquing trip so we can get an occasional table for the living room and a big, big lamp - it's a cathedral ceiling with brown wood paneling, and it feels so dark but I hate overhead lights

Sneakers for everyday (the old school style New Balance or something like that)

A new bag for work

I REALLY want a gemstone ring for my right hand.  But that is so not happening.  DH and I are not exchanging gifts this year. We're also not exchanging gifts with his family, just doing gifts for the kids.

In my family, we do Secret Santa.  I usually ask for a family membership to the zoo, aquarium, children's museum etc.
