Just went through my first miscarraige. I'm devestated. I have a three year old though, he's helped me get through this. It would've been my husbands first, my son is from a previous relationship. I had a gestational sac, placed right, everything was positioned correctly, but nothing developed. My ob said that she's never seen it happen twice. My sister had one 3 months before she had my nephew. So...I'm hopeful. My ob said also I have a 15% chance it could happen again, and an 85% chance it would end in a healthy pregnancy. Just thought id say hi.

    Bonus info: me - low TNF, low vitamin D, borderline low IGF (all improving) 
    IVF (May/June2014) 5R/5F/2T (ET 6/11) - no frosties. 
    + HPT 8dp5dt. Beta #1 - 71(6/20). Beta #2 381 (6/24) 
    U/S 7/11 (one perfect little bean, HB 150's). EDD 3/1/2015
    Baby boy Lincoln Alexander's HB stopped at 18w and was delivered at 19w (10/3/2014)
    All testing normal/negative including normal chromosomes - no answers... D&C 11/20/2014
    IVF#2 coming in Spring 2015

    I'm sorry for your loss, and while I do hope your OB's statement holds true for you and you never have to suffer through another loss, I'd be surprised if she's never seen/known of a patient with more than one blighted ovum and/or early loss before.
