Constantly sick?

I have a 3 year old and a 5 month old, both go to daycare five days a week, plus I'm an early elementary teacher.
My kids have been sick with something for the past three weeks! They both finished antibiotics for an ear infection within the last week and are now sick again! Our oldest has a nasty cold and our little guy has just developed a cough within the last day.
Anyone else going through this too? It's so frustrating...I hate always going to the doctor and being told that we are doing everything we can...I wish there was something we could do so that we have a little time in between all of the sicknesses!

My DD started getting a cold last Sunday night and is still stuffy. Im a sahm so she isn't around other people too much. I dont have any advice but just want to say that I hope they can stay healthy soon!

DS, who turned 3 yesterday, has been sick 13 times in the past 12 months. From November last year through the end of March, he came down with something new every other week, no exaggeration. And he wasn't in daycare at the time; he stayed home with me and we only went out 2-3x/wk. He started mother's day out on September 2 of this year and has already been sick 3 times. I hope this isn't an indication of how the rest of the winter will go, and I'm praying that EBF will keep DD from catching all his bugs.

I swear my son (2) has had a runny nose since he was 6 mos old. Not kidding. Both have nasty noses and coughs right now, going on three weeks. He is sleeping well thankfully, baby girl not so much. I always joke that no one ever warned me before having kids that they are basically sick all.the.time.

When we went to the pedi for a persistent cough for DS, the Dr. told us he expects babies to be coughing 4 out the 6 winterish months. DS has gone up and down with this cough for several weeks now

We've got allergies here. I see the shiners, the runny nose, and a little cough. I rely on the humidifier in winter to get us through.

Oh us us! P even went to the ER due to a 103 idiopathic fever, later determined to just be viral. He also had a cold, what I diagnosed as roseola, and the teething....oh, the teething.

My middle son (10), got the pukies in bed and in a school friend's car. For those of you with only little kiddos- you don't know the disgust of preteen/teen vomit. They like to binge eat prior to puking.

My oldest (12) waited a few days to give us false hope of everyone being better and started puking 2 am yesterday.

So. Over. It.

Yep. Same here. 3 year old and 5 month old in full time daycare also. They are always sick. My oldest has started spacing out the illnesses in the last 9 months or so, but he was sick usually once a month. I fully expect the same with the baby this time.

No, but it was common when I was working in centers. Germs suck. I hope you guys can get healthy soon!

Same here. DS battled two infections back to back and now looks to be getting a small cold. Since they go to daycare there's no way to avoid it. I'm trying to make it a point to clean him off and change his clothes when he comes home so he isn't sitting around in germies - not huge but it's something.

We just took Binn to the doctor for a cough that hasn't gone away. He said it was the tail end of a cold and she would probably have another next week because her older sister is going to give her something else.
