How are you finding pants that fit well over a fluffy CD butt? I've been going up a size then rolling the cuffs but it looks just kind of funny. Any ideas? Baby clothes seem designed for disposables.
With infant clothes I have mostly been putting him in knit pants vs jeans or non-stretchy things. I have had to size up about a month early but I think I would need to do that anyway.
Some of C's pants don't have a high enough rise to cover a diaper completely, and it peeks out the waistband a bit in the back, but they still fit and I don't see it as a problem. The few times he's been in disposables nothing seems to fit right at all, so its probably just what your used to.
I found GAP jeans fit great with my son's fluff booty. The waist in most of the infant and toddler jeans/pants are adjustable, too. Even when I have a pretty big diaper on him, they fit fine with GAP jeans. Maybe they make them a little roomier in the caboose?
I love project pomona pants. They are cut to fit cloth diapers. I just love them because they are well made and my kid has been wearing the same pair of jeans for the last year. Though we also wear other pants without problems, but I do roll pant legs up. My kid is short like me, so I'm used to it.
Project Ponoma Pants are amazing. Love their jeans and fully customizable for CD butts

I have a long lean little guy and I've never had a problem. He's in 6-9 month tops because the sleeve length and he still fits into some of his footed 3 month pants! Poor kid has short legs I guess. We put him in track pants/ stretchy pants almost exclusively. Much more comfortable at this age in my opinion.
Also try baby leggings. I love those and thy keep socks on so well. My LO is always loosing his socks in regular pants.
We are fine as long as they are knit pants. For both my kids their thighs dwarfed their butt anyway. Jeans or the like forget about it but like I said not due to their diapers.
Mama to a little girl born July 2011 and a little boy born April 2014!
My first was built like a little fire plug when he was under a year old- he was like a beach ball with feet. I always joked that infant pjs should come in "small bore" and "large bore" leg diameter, not just weight reccomendations. We had to always use knit pants when he was little, between the fluffy butt and thunder thighs, and had to go up a size or two pretty much all the time. The generic looking knit pants from Carters worked well for us, up a size, and avoiding woven pants/ jeans until after he started walking and slimmed down a little. Now that he's mobile and built like a normal toddler, it hasn't been a problem.
