Who else is 40+ weeks?

I'm 40+6 today. At my appt yesterday, I was still 1cm & 50% effaced (4 weeks with no change). Doctor stretched me to a 2 and stripped my membrane... Yowzers!!! Pretty painful, but I was all for anything that could help move things along. I've been scheduled for an induction on the 26th. Do you think the hospital has a special Thanksgiving menu? Hopefully my little lady will decide to come on her own in the next few days.

Im hoping they do something special for thanksgiving! my last day of work today!!! Yay! I was going to hold off till labor but ,since i have weekends off, working up to 41 weeks sounds close enough!

Hey ya'll- I'm joining the convo at 40 weeks 5 days. I have a midwife appt. today but I'm sure it'll be uneventful. She's never checked my cervix and we wont be talking induction dates til 42 weeks. I am staying home from work today and think imma try that labor dance here in a bit. That and decorate the house for Christmas

At least it's the weekend now and I can hide inside and not answer the phone and avoid all my coworkers' never ending inquiries about my cervix and how excited I must be. Actually no. I'm kind if over it. Ha.

40+4 now...nothing new and exciting to report except for the fact that my back is now SO bad, I literally had a dream last night that a Dr told me it was dislocated some kind of way...yup.

40 weeks today. Had my appt and Ob said no progress at all. Still not dilated or effaced and baby up high. Ugh! I know this means nothing and I can go into labor any time but still can't help but feel like my body doesn't know how to give birth. I was induced with my last two because I went over my due date. I really want to go natural this time, but I have a feeling I'm going to have to wait till 42 weeks to see this babe. I've been dealing with major SPD so I'm over the pain and ready to be not pregnant! Lol

40+1,booked for sweep Thursday and induction Saturday. In the UK they don't really check your cervix until absolutely necessary so no idea how dilated/effaced I am.

Same as everyone else really - trying to be positive,get off the sofa,be confident that nature will take its course,and know that I will meet the LO within a week. And also not to be a total b**ch to everyone around me.

Also,with these pokey feet inside me and the BH from the last few days,I genuinely feel like I have a jackfruit inside me!

@LivInCA‌ I know what you're talking about it. When I think back to August and September how cute the little movements were and how now I feel it's abuse. This past week especially has been rough. I've definitely jumped and gasped a few times. My DH goes was that a contraction? No such luck my dear, just your sons not so tiny feet.

40 weeks today. Tried everything over the weekend to get things moving...hauled in some lighter Christmas decoration boxes from storage, took a long walk, ate Mexican and even DTD with DH and all I got were some cramps, again. I think my uterus must be made of steel and never going to naturally give this kid up. Next appointment scheduled for Wednesday, so I'm sure I'm still a week out from a RCS, if no baby before then. Come on, Zane...let's get this show on the road!!

40+5 today and beyond over it. I lost my MP over the weekend and mild cramps and BH's but no contractions. My dr won't let me go past 41 weeks so hopefully I will be scheduled to be induced tomorrow night or Wednesday. I was hoping she'd come naturally but nothing thus far!

41 weeks today! We'll see what the midwife says today.I'll have her do another sweep, took 2 with ds and he was still over by 13 days. I have been losing my MP and some very very mild contractions which I never had with him.

41 weeks today...being induced Wednesday. These last few days are painfully slow.

40 weeks tomorrow,got a sweep at one so fingers crossed this little boy comes soon after don't think I can take being pregnant for much longer! Had all the signs of labour yet not labour, hoping tomorrow pushes me that last little bit! Probably not knowing my luck and will be having a December baby instead of a November baby

Appointment in the morning. Attempting a VBAC...ladies that have gone over their due date with VBAC, what options did your Dr give you? I know mine won't induce, he did a membrane sweep last Tuesday (without results ), so I'm just wondering if they would potentially break my water to induce, or if it's just a waiting game with a RCS scheduled if I don't naturally go into labor before next week? Thanks for all your help!

Holla to all the overdue and crampy ladies out there! Still inside,40+4 today,trying to keep inside until DH lands tomorrow - have a sweep booked for exactly the moment he touches down! Then let's get this show on the road...

40 + 5 today. For once, I'm praying baby stays inside at least until thanksgiving night lol I have my next appt. when I'm 41+ 4 where we'll talk about scheduling an induction. I've been having a lot of cramping and BH contractions so hopefully babe will arrive before then
