The thread about the MIL buying all the Xmas presents (my ILs are similar and it is definitely about control!), got me thinking of what we could ask them to buy LO.
I'm planning on asking for the next car seat. Does anyone have other any ideas? I'd love to give them the 529 account info, but we all know that'd be too good to be true! What are some "necessities" for the 12-18 month range that would be something a grandparent would want to buy?
I'm also thinking a wagon. Can they buy some good quality shoes for walking? Or is that hard to do without LO present? We plan on asking for some type of park/zoo membership also.
Re: Practical/useful gifts for LO
I have also talked to family and lamented over how xyz would be really useful. If I say it directly they get all offended, so I have to make it so they think they thought of the idea.
Me too please! I understand babies are fun to buy for, but come on...
Thanks for the great ideas ladies!
