DD? DS? What does it mean?

Am I the only one who has no idea what all these abbreviations stand for? Could you list them and their meaning? #nonblogger #firsttimemom

I stopped on the newbies board and there's so much shit and people posting it's overwhelming. This is my 2nd kiddo and 2nd time really getting thick into the bump...I personally have always hated all the acronyms. It takes longer to figure out what people are talking about then it does to just type the words out. I am not a fan...I also find it funny that people are oh so helpful to direct you where to go but can't take the time to mention what DD or DS mean. Helpful people! #justsayin

Don't worry your not the only one lost here. Just one more ridiculous thing to have to try and remember while having pregnancy brain

One of my mottos: when in doubt, Google to find out. I had to learn a lot of the acronyms too, but most of them make a lot of sense in context, so I found it easy to get a handle on. You could bookmark the Bump's acronym glossary for future quick reference. Definitely faster than making a thread to ask what each acronym means and waiting for people to reply.

Love the line "Teach a man to fish" completely agree. I guess I just seem to be the type that would help direct and also clue a person into whatever they were wondering about. Assuming they would more than likely use the advice of looking on the list the next time around.

I assume every other woman was in these shoes when they joined the bump as well....only time will get us acquainted with all the acronyms. Phew!
