newborn covers and sizing

Does anyone know if different brands of newborn covers will fit over size small prefolds and/or workhorses? I have a couple of Rumparooz nb and Thristies size 1, and was thinking about gettting some Blueberry nb size, but based on the size of my first baby, I suspect that we could be going from size nb to small diapers pretty quickly. Do I need one-size covers to fit over smalls?

I found both my Rumparooz and Blueberry newborn covers fit tiny but also lasted a long time. My Rumparooz lasted through 4 months (12 lbs) and we still use our Blueberry newborn Capri cover over prefolds, and flats. Same with our Thirsties size 1 (I never got the Thirsties xs size).

Like pp's said, Blueberries newborn covers and Thirsties size one are working well for us over small workhorses. RaRz NBs fit over prefolds, but at 15 pounds, they're a tight fit over workhorses.

We used RAR & blueberry, but at 5 weeks my daughter is just under 7lbs and they are still a bit big - I have loved her bummis super bright because they are small and work well with the nb prefolds. These might be too small for an avg sized baby though.
