So what was everyone up to today?  Any big plans for the night?

My day wasn't terribly exciting.  I had the day to myself, so decided to knock out some christmas shopping because I really am not a fan of crowds. 
And tonight I'm just working on crafty stuff and watching cheesy movies on tv!

Cheesy movies sound great! We finally just finished painting and we're cleaning up now. Think the rest of the night will be a shower, a third beer and some relaxing on the couch.
I really hope someone is doing something more interesting

MH and I are at a friends house, we did a BBQ. I've had way too many Loopy vodka drinks.. And it's only 7:45

@PetraStonegirl I hope your cough goes away soon and that it isn't anything serious!!
I've had pneumonia as well and one year had an infection (never figured out what it was) that had me coughing for around 3 months.  I totally get needing to make sure it isn't something serious!   Keep us updated...

@Km380 Yeah my cheesy movies tonight are holiday movies on Hallmark.  I guess doing the christmas shopping kind of put me in that mood.  Also the desire to not think too much!

@Nikolie93 Doesn't it seem so much later than it is?  I got home expecting it to be around 9.  Nope, not even 8 yet.

@Menrandes - I found a song that seemed appropriate for you given what happened earlier this week and would probably scare the crap out of the kids at the same time I'll have to link it when it comes up in my playlist (because I'm too lazy right now to go find it)

I'm just working this weekend, and Monday and Tuesday too. I'll get holiday pay for Tuesday though, so I guess I'm okay with that.

We had a really quiet day at work, and I ended up getting a LOT of writing done. I basically sat down and pounded out the end of my book, although I'm going to have to get MH to help me with a few aspects. I really don't know what's come over me. I haven't written this much in literally 2 years! With any luck, this damned manuscript will be done by Christmas!!

AFM, I spent most of the day purging a lot of crap that we won't be taking on the move. And I got a few boxes packed. But i started getting pretty crampy this afternoon, so I think I overdid it:/

So now I'm taking it easy, binge watching Gilmore Girls on Netflix with my trusty heating pad and painkillers:)

I spent my afternoon/evening working on piecing together my quilt then first attempt at making chicken curry (not bad) and banana cream pie (we'll find out tomorrow). 

Is it sad that it's 9pm and I'm ready for bed? Sheesh I'm old! Tomorrow's chore day though, so I need to get rested up!

Not much going here. Had a birthday party earlier but thanks the incident I posted in Weekend TP I ended up coming home early. DH just left for work so I'm sprawled out on the couch indulging in a couple glasses of wine and watching some Disney movies. (Disney movies put me in my happy place & the wine helps too ) Tomorrow is house cleaning day and not much more is going on. I've enjoyed a relaxing for the most part.

@Nikolie93‌ I'm with everyone else and that drinks sounds awesome. Guess I'm getting some loopy vodka at the store tomorrow !

Anyone wanting to make drinks using Loopy just Google three olives Loopy vodka recipes. There are some good ones!

I don't think I follow any of them, I just throw stuff in the glass lol. I used the diet cranberry splash Sprite tonight instead of regular Sprite and I liked it. You can just use cranberry, orange, or Pineapple juice if you don't want soda.

My other favorite drink is birthday cake vodka, pineapple juice, and a splash of Grenadine. Tastes just like pineapple upside down cake =P~

I actually have a day with nothing planned and we did all our Sunday errands yesterday. I think it's a good day to catch up on some reading. So rare to have nothing that I have to do!

Yesterday I was shopping after volunteering. It was a nice relaxing day. Today we have friends coming over. I wish I was still sleeping. 7 am on a weekend is way to early. Feel better @PetraStonegirl‌, so glad to hear it isn't pneumonia

@kcrkcs‌ I used to travel for work all the time and although I'm glad I don't have to with this position, I kind of miss it every now and then. I used to stop by the store, get some beer, and order pizza. That sounds delightful right now!

I spent the day yesterday organizing Christmas presents I had purchased throughout the year which helped me make a shopping list. In doing so I also cleaned out my closet and took some things to consign. I made $40

Today I'm cleaning the house and spending time with SO. We will probably go out to lunch and then I'll get to some crafting- I want to get these heart rice bags started!

I'm not a big vodka drinker primarily because I like it straight to the point, but with all the wonderful flavors they do make for good mix drinks. That fruit loop thing sounds like something DH would love! He's a tad bit fruity with his drink choices.

AFM, It's been a busy weekend. My best friend had her engagement party yesterday so the past few days have been filled with decorating the venue and running errands. I'm super excited to be able to stand beside her through the next 14 months of wedding chaos. DH and I threw ours together because his father was ill and its something I regret. So I'm living vicariously through her!

Oh no, that is a scary thing @furrypaws‌! I always get nervous when MH gets out any sharp things.

It seems that AF is upon me this morning and I completely just broke down. Wtf? I was ok, I had no idea it would bother me so much. I guess it's a good thing, it was due on my EDD from my April MC, 11-13. That would have been a double whammy.

I hate being sad and down, it's usually not me and I find it so frustrating

AFM: Bachelorette party last night was fun. Bride-to-be loves history, so the theme for the night revolved around that. We were running around with fake mustaches in honor of Dali. Lots of people thought it was great. One guy wasn't cool. He was all like "you look ridiculous." Today is calm and time for recovering.

I am jealous of everyone in their PJs today.  I am still painting my bathroom from yesterday.  Every time I think I am done I see a spot with the old paint coming through.  

I should have finished last night but there was an all you can eat oyster night we had to go to.

@Menrandes‌ - I suppose it depends on where they are when you play it ;-) I keep playing it at work and annoying my coworker. I'm bouncing up and down and she's like "it's giving me a headache!" Lol.

@furrypaws‌ and @jjbmstinco‌ MH was a lumberjack. He's basically got the whole the whole chainsaw thing down pat. He used to regale me with stories of his super duper fancy "woman"
