Happy Friday! Lately, I have been trying to focus on all the little positive things that provide me with even a second away from negative thoughts. So today I took stock of some of the little things that I love....

Here are a few things that I love:

I love the sound of the floor creaking when I walk.

I love how happy my dogs are to see me even when I just went outside and came right back in.

I love the feeling I get when I'm the first person on a ski run early in the morning.

I love how coffee just tastes better when camping.

I love a good pair of cashmere gloves.

I love the smell of the air right after a first rain.

I love the way a new pair of socks feel on my feet.

I also love when my dog is so very excited when I get home... Makes my day

I love the fall weather in FL when the humidity finally goes down

I love little get togethers with friends at someone's house, just relaxing and hanging out

I love being by the water with a good book

I love the weekends

I love all the alcohol

So much more I'm sure but that's it's for now!

The first day of the season where it's cold enough to wear a hat and a scarf.

When my cats curl up on my lap.

The sound of rain late at night while camping.

A fire in the fireplace and music playing while I curl up with my husband in the living room.

My husband scratching my head as I fall asleep.

Finishing a project!

The smell of stew and freshly baked biscuits on a cold day.

The mess of wrapping paper on Christmas morning.  It's just the two of us (and four cats!) but there is always a pile.

I love that my DH is willing to sacrifice to make our future a little brighter.

I love ALL of the wine. Cheap wine, expensive wine, I love it all.

@menrandes I love finishing projects too! All kinds of projects - I'm working on a quilt now. What's your current project?

My only original thought for today - I love tv. I know people aren't supposed to say that, but Big Bang Theory, Walking Dead, trashy reality shows, and Hulu bring me so much joy!

@whitneyandconcep I so want to get into quilting!  I just finished a panel for a blanket I am making and now I'm taking a break of that.  (tedious!) So I started on a pair of socks for a friend for christmas.

I don't really have seasons where I live either....but autumn is my favorite season!

I love bacon - in any form.
I love after autumn leaves have fallen and there is a stiff wind the sound they make and visual of them whirling around like a mini tornado when they're dry.
I love that my husband knows I'd have an affair with Blackhawks Patrick Sharp if given the chance and teases me about my celebrity crush (just like I do for his of Jessica Biel).
I love my hair how it feels right after a haircut.
I love that first moment you sink into a hot bath when you're unsure if it's too hot but as soon as your whole body gets in your release a sigh of pleasure.
I love that Wednesday nights during commercial breaks my husband tickles me and now just refers to it as "what we do" night - because tickling is what we do that night.

I love to eat fresh baked bread.  I am spoiled though and get it often. H makes it almost once a week or every other week.

Question-did you guys get your bread pans anywhere specific?  Right now, H just makes a blob.  He wants a high tin loan pan but we can't find them.  We do use cermanic sometimes.

I use glass and what I believe to be tin pans. Also I use a cast iron dutch oven...... It just depends on the bread

They're called bath bombs, I usually only use about 1/3 per bath because they are super sudsy! The Comforter is fantastic for AF-soothing baths too.

@cavewmn the better question is what don't I do! For a while I dabbled in jewlery making. I spend a lot of time sewing (clothes both modern and historical, receiving blankets, and the such). Quilting, cross stitch, embroidery, I have done a few latch hooks. I also scrapbook. I make things like candles, bath salts, soap. I also knit and crochet. Really I dabble. Someday I want to try making glass beads and doing stained glass.

I love when your sort of start to wake up during a really good dream but are capable of falling back asleep and back in to it.

I love when you are reading a book so good the rest of the world doesn't exist to you.

I love the day after Thanksgiving, it is my one day a year to eat dessert for breakfast. A piece of pumpkin pie and a cup of coffee is an excellent way to start the day.
