Reese doesn't nap anymore--hasn't for a few weeks. Yesterday, obviously she didn't nap. We went out to a magic show last night, and got home late for her. (She fell asleep on the way home. Her normal bedtime is 7, last night it was 9pm). At the magic show she was running around like a crazy person. Fast forward to this morning when she got up at her regular time-6:30). Today we went to our local mall, which is huge sans stroller--so she walked everywhere. On the way home she fell asleep in the car--probably about 3:45.
It is now 5:45, and despite me trying to wake her up for the last hour, she is still sleeping on the couch. (TV is on, lights are on, I even put a pull up on her a few minutes ago)
Would you just call it a night and hopes that she sleeps til the morning; or actually try to force her up?
I really don't want to deal with a 4am wake up call, but she is REALLY tired.
Re: WWYD Bedtime question (parenting related, obv)
Or maybe try waking her one last time? Ah. It's hard to say. My kid has never slept right thru from naptime like that, so I've never really had to make that kind of call. GL!
Eta.. second thought- I kind of agree with @sterling13 here. I'd probably try to wake her at least to get some food into her.
