We are having a girl in February and instead of narrowing down the list, our list continues to grow! We all over the place with names and would love some opinions!
We were thinking Eliza, with NN of Liza (not Lisa). Anyone have suggestions for more formal names for the names that sound like nicknames. We're open to ideas! This isn't even actually our whole list, but I hit enter before I could add more! Thanks for your feedback. I prefer strangers feedback over my friends and family! Keep it coming.
I love Scarlett or Caroline. The only issue with Scarlett is it's popularity right now if that bothers you. Molly and Elsie are cute. The rest are nms. Especially Hattie I think I hate it no offense.
I love Nora as a standalone name, that was my vote (DD's name). I met a baby girl named Eleanora, which I think is so beautiful. If we had heard the name before DD was born I would have discussed Eleanora nn Nora, but we're happy with her being just Norah (and get compliments on it all the time)
I love your list. The only name I dislike is Hattie because it feels kind of awkward said aloud (at least to me). I picked Caroline because it's timeless and beautiful.
I voted Nora but if Mary NN Molly was a choice I would have set my vote there! Harriet NN Hattie would have been my second hypothetical choice and then Nora would come in at third place!

while I do like the name Elsa, it's just waaaay to much connection to the movie Frozen. I don't want people to think that I named my daughter after the movie character. I went with Elsie because it's a family name. As someone had mentioned earlier, it is the name of the Borden cow, which I just learned this weekend. I do agree that a name like Elsie is cute for a little girl, but maybe not so much as a professional adult.
Re: Girls Name Feedback
A lot of these feel nicknamey to me, which is fine, guess that's just what struck me.
I went with Caroline.
