When do your toddlers take naps?

We used to do naps at noon but the baby tends to eat around noon and I try to get them to nap with her so I can get a peaceful shower or a little nap for myself. When we do naps after noon it always seems to get pushed back by lunch (girls get hungry around 1p if they are up and haven't napped) and then they get a little hype after lunch and fight going to sleep.

I'm thinking about 11a naps followed by lunch but that seems so early! Thoughts?!

That IS hard!

For my kids, it's always been 5 hours after they wake up for the day; Currently, he wakes up at 8am so nap is at 1pm, after lunch.

On days he's up at 7am, lunch has to come so early, like 11am so he can nap about 12pm.

@mandymack Thanks! I was getting tired of looking at my face plus, that was last year and I feel like I look totally different now for some reason.

My kids naptime seems to constantly change. DD gave up regular naps at 2.5; DS is still napping. DS used to nap at noon, but it ended up becoming too early for him (he was no longer tired by noon) and DD started longer day preschool. I couldn't get home, get them lunch, and get DS down for a nap before 2. So far it is working well for us.

DS is 2.5 and does not nap anymore. Sad....anyway, I make him to quiet time and it is usually 12:30-2. DD is still kind of all over the place, but I can usually get her to nap at some point while DS is doing quiet time so I can take a little snooze.

DS no longer naps.  DD usually goes down for a nap around 11:30 am or closer to 12:00 on preschool days since she usually falls asleep in the car after dropping DS off.  She wakes up between 5:30-6:00 am and goes to bed around 7:30 pm.

My almost three year old dropped his nap months ago, so I am no help. He is asleep by 6:30 or 7pm for the night, though. That is my consolation prize.

When they nap (it's hit or miss) it's usually 1pm- 4pm.

DD is 3.
DS is 15 months.

roughly 1-3. sometimes put 19 mo down earlier if it works, but like to time them together. 3 yo goes down closer to 1:30. some days he sings and fights it, and some days he falls asleep in minutes. i am just not ready for him to give it up!

My kids are almost 3 years and 15 months and tend to wake around 7. I try to do lunch sometime between 11:30 and 1 and then they go down for their nap immediately after lunch. Lately they have been napping for 3 hours or so, and I try to plan their nap time around our activities for the day.

My daughter is 14 months, she wakes up for the day around 6:45 or7. Then her nap is at about 10 (it lasts anywhere from 30-60 min) then the second nap is btwn 3&3:30 for 30-60 min

K usually gets up around 7am and since starting school last January her (only) nap has been at 2pm. It used to last about 1.5-2hrs. Then recently, even though I still put her in bed around 2pm, she'll bounce and play till 3. Sometimes she'll sleep 1hr, sometimes 2. Lately I started waking her after 1hr bc if I don't she wants to stay up till 9pm (we are done with bedtime routine betw 8-8:30 but she is still awake in bed).
