Can someone please hold me? (Intro & Living child mentioned)

I am in complete shock and utter terror. I got my BFP this morning! I really didn't think our timing was going to be good this cycle and was ready to just wait for AF, but I tested anyway. Please allow me to take up a sticky seat next to you wonderful ladies!

A little background for those who don't know/remember me. DH and I are both 30 and have a DD who will be 20 months next week. We bought a house late last year and within a week of moving I found I was pregnant, but already miscarrying. :( Had I known, I would never have moved a thing. DH and I decided early in the summer to try again and got pregnant in July, the first cycle of temping, but I miscarried a week after my BFP. We've been on the bench until this most recent cycle. So I find myself pregnant quickly, yet again, but praying this one sticks like DD did. 

My first OB appt isn't until Nov 25th and I am so nervous. I haven't gotten past 6w with my pregnancies this year and this appointment should put me at 6w 4d. Please hold onto me until then. Also, my Dr. does not want to do betas unless I am symptomatic. She said there is no point in coming in now and getting good results if that could change and I'd have to go back in again. She knows my history and is very supportive, but is going off the statistics of having a 3rd MC. I hope she is right, even though I know several of you and several lovely ladies on TTCAL have had the misfortune of having 3+ miscarriages. 

To all my TTCAL and those also lurking from TTFAS, thank you all for the support you have given me over the last 8 months. I don't know that I could ever be as strong as I am without knowing the strength you all have inside of you. Though I will miss you greatly and want to bring you with me, I will be keeping my eye out for you. If there is anyone lurking from TTFAS' AL check-in I will need someone to take over the check-in duties until someone can take it full-time! So much love to you all! Thank you all again for the support! I only hope I have given a sliver of that portion back to all of you!

    ETA: I think it's fine you're not doing betas. They cause a lot of worry and if you can sit tight until your appointment, I think that's great.

    Thank you so much everyone! @BookishMomma I know I'd probably drive myself crazy trying to analyze my numbers so I am a little glad they don't want to do it. I'm just surprised. I thought it would be more common to just get them done. I guess I was wrong.

    I didn't do betas either - for the same reasons you stated.  I knew I would obsess over the numbers.

    Oh happy day! I'm so excited you're here!!!!!!! I think skipping betas is a great plan to avoid a lot of unnecessary stress. I hope the weeks pass by quickly until your first appointment. Holding onto you super tight sweet friend!!

    Welcome and congratulations!! I hope that this is your sticky baby at last. It's a long wait for those first ultrasounds! Are you hosting Thanksgiving or anything? Might help to find something super distracting like meal planning. Maybe this is a good year for homemade Christmas gifts!
