  • Have you taken any new steps towards healing this week?
No, I had the best intentions for this week.  But couldn't bring myself to do much of anything.

What is the next goal you have set for yourself? Do you have a plan to help achieve that goal?
Im hoping to hear back from the grief counselor this week so I can book an appointment.  I'd like to try for this week to try to start exercising a bit.  I don't want to have to face going back to work with baby weight on.

QOTW: Do you think social media helps or hinders you in your grief?

I think it helped me.  I posted on facebook about our loss, (after the important people found out in person or phone).  That saved me having to answer painful questions or repeating myself over and over.  It also allowed people to offer condolences without me having to talk to them, when I wasn't ready.

  • @Happyin14‌ I'm so sorry for your losses. It is a great that you and your husband are starting a foundation in your son's honor. Have you taken any new steps towards healing this week? In my line of work I come across the same people over and over again but it could be months til I see them. Ever since I went back to work, I've been dreading seeing someone and asking about my baby. I knew I was seeing a client today that knew I was pregnant and was preparing myself for the past couple of days to have tell them that I lost my son. Well, I kept it together. Tears started to form but I survived without losing it in front of half a dozen colleagues. What is the next goal you have set for yourself? Do you have a plan to help achieve that goal? No new goals just working on my health. QOTW: Do you think social media helps or hinders you in your grief? I don't real use social media - I don't even have Facebook...
