How did the D&C go yesterday? Were you able to get your insurance figured out? How are you feeling? Just wanted to let you know I'm thinking about you! I hope everything went well and your recovery will be easy. ((((HUGS)))

Thanks ladies! My insurance finally authorized it, and the procedure went smoothly. I was kind of a mess, because I've never been put under general anesthesia, so my anxiety was through the roof. But they were very quick, and I was waking up before I even realized that I'd been put under.

I've had some moderate bleeding and some cramping, but nothing at a little Norco and a heating pad couldn't take care of. And my mom stayed with me the rest of the day and took care of me.

I'm just happy it's over with, and now I can start trying to heal emotionally. Thanks again for checking in on me. It really means a lot:)

Glad to hear that the procedure went well and that you sorted the insurance issues.

I know it's still super early but I just wanted to put this out there because I wish I had done this after my D&C. Start temping at some point okay? It's just an insurance policy really to make sure that your body is heading back to normal. I waited nearly 60 days after my first one to start and I was a mes at that point. Eventually I was able to pick up O so it helped me at least manage the anxiety that came from not knowing what was going on.

@PinkCamino‌ I actually started temping again this morning. I forgot at first, so I took it 30 minutes later, just to get back into the habit. I'm really hoping it gives me a sense of control again:)

Good! I know it's tedious and probably unnecessary but it comes in really helpful if you're waiting more than 4-6 weeks for your first AF. Clearly, I hope that AF comes on schedule and everything is normal for you but temping will help keep you sane while you wait.
